I recently broke my ankle, ouch! Meaning I get to sit out the remainder of the winter season! Yay! That and I get to work from home which means more time with my little guy. Because I can't pick him up from daycare he has to stay home with me. I told myself that I want our time together to be quality time because as the busyness of our lives is slowly creeping back up we may not have time together like this for a while. This means mommy and son arts and crafts and baking of course! Honestly that's really all I'm limited to. Oh and family Netflix and chill of course.
On today's menu we have this super easy and yummy shortbread cookie recipe. Roll up your sleeves its about to get messy :)
1 Bar of Unsalted Butter
1 Cup of White Sugar
4 Cups of All purpose Flour
2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Mix all of your ingredients together until smooth
Poor it unto your table and flatten with a rolling pin
With a cookie cutter of your choice, we used the heart shape for love lol, cut out your cookies
Place them on the cooking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
That's it! It really is that easy. Happy Baking!
